It’s Time to Say Goodbye to Watercolor Pencils and Watercolor Wonder Crayons

Due to unforeseen problems with our supplier for Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Watercolor Pencils, Stampin’ Up! has decided to discontinue these two products.

Watercolor Pencils (Item # 101879) and Watercolor Wonder Crayons Brights Collection (Item # 119804)–which have been on the Backorder Report for about a week–will no longer be available, effective immediately.  If you ordered one of these items and it didn’t ship due to its status in backorder, Stampin’ Up! will not be able to fill it and will soon begin processing refunds.  (Keep in mind that it may take a few days to see the reimbursement in your account.)

Now for the good news!  Stampin’ Up! still has the remaining collections of the Watercolor Wonder Crayons available to order.  The Subtles (Item # 119802), Neutrals (Item # 119805), and Regals (Item # 119803) Collections are only available while supplies last.  Get ’em before they’re gone–priced at $16.95 per collection, they’re sure to go fast!

Easter Blessings Posies

Spoiler Alert!  If you are a member of my immediate family you might want to skip today’s post … this is the card I’ll be sending you for Easter!  🙂

I actually was able to spend some time in my craft room this past weekend.  I was a little rusty creatively (it’s been several weeks since I’ve had any stamps in my hands) so this design was a very slow process.

I knew I wanted to use the Easter Blessings and Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit (both of which are available in the 2013 Spring Catalog) but that’s about as far as I had worked it out in my head.  I tried various types of flowers, including the papers that look like mini cupcake liners but couldn’t get the look I had envisioned.

After I got the flower element figured out I knew my card needed something else to bring it all together.  I looked around on my table and spotted the Natural 7/16″ Trim Ribbon that I had yet to use on a project.  After trying a variety of bow options I found the look I was going for!
