Takeout Treats (or Tricks)

Greetings my stamping friends.  As the temperatures are going to change drastically overnight I thought I would share a Halloween treat project with you.  I managed to get another order processed with some of the new Halloween products from the Holiday Catalog and I have the greatest of intentions to make cute treats for my neighbors and dearest friends.

Here is one such treat holder:

Now I just need to find something worthy to put inside each little box!

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this treat box which can be added to your shopping cart by simply clicking on the thumbnails below:

I also used floral wire that I wrapped around a paint brush handle to create the floating spring for the flying ghost.

If you have any questions regarding any design elements of these treat boxes, do not hesitate to ask me.  My tutorials are always FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Peaceful Noel Meets Winter Woods in the Round

Greetings my stamping friends.  I have another original design project to share with you today.  Similar to my project from yesterday, I used the Stamparatus and my template to create a wreath, but I spent a little extra time doing some fussy cutting.  Here is the card so you can see what I mean:

I started with a 3″ square piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamped the two-step branch from the Peaceful Noel stamp set and then fussy cut out the wreath.  I stamped the pine cones from the Winter Woods stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating framelits.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart by simply clicking on the thumbnails below:

Even with the fussy cutting of the wreath (TIP:  I made an “X” in the center using an Exacto Knife to make it easier to cut out the inside of the wreath), this was a pretty simple project.  If you have any questions regarding any measurements or other design elements, do not hesitate to ask me.  As you may have read by now, my tutorials are always offered to my subscribers for FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

A Peaceful Noel in the Round

Greetings my stamping friends.  Today I have an original design to share with you.  With my A/C upstairs replaced and the cooler weather my crafting space is now a pleasant room to spend time in.

First I will share with you my card and then explain how I created the focal point.

Can you guess what stamping tool I used to help me create my wreath?  If you guessed the Stampartus, then you would be correct!  I first created a “template” which would allow me to stamp on paper that is either 3″, 4″ or 5″ square and laminated it for protection from staining:

I placed my appropriately sized paper in the square and held it in place with the magnets and placed the stamp where I wanted it to start and then “picked it up” with one of the plates, inked it, stamped, rotated my paper 1/4 turn and repeated until I had a completed wreath.  It really is that easy!

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart by simply clicking on the thumbnails below:

If you have any questions regarding measurements or any other design elements of this card, do not hesitate to ask.  My tutorials are always offered for FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Making Christmas Bright

Greetings my stamping friends.  If you are as old as I am then you remember Christmas lights as being the big red and green bulbs that screwed into sockets strung on heavy electrical wires.  These are still my favorite type of lights but are sometimes difficult to find and much more expensive than the little bitty twinkle lights.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Making Christmas Bright bundle in the Holiday Catalog – a stamp set and bulb builder punch featuring these marvelous lights!  And of course Amy Storrie had a project for us at her Holiday Retreat using the products from the All is Bright product suite that coordinate with this bundle.  Here is the card:

Super cute and simple, right!  I love the designer series paper in this product suite.  It has the realistic photographic image on one side and a graphic design on the other side.  Those light bulbs on the DSP look like you could just grab them and put them on your string of lights!

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart by simply clicking on the thumbnails below:

This was a fun card to make.  If you have any questions as to measurements or any other design elements just ask.  All of my tutorials are provided for FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Joyous Noel

Greetings my stamping friends!  I have two more projects from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat to share with you today – one is a card and the other is a banner.  These projects both use products from the Joyous Noel Suite which is my second favorite product suite from the Holiday Catalog (at least this week!).

The first project is the card – clean and simple:

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart with a simple click on the thumbnails below:

As for the second project – the banner – while I made all of the parts I did not fully assemble the banner at the event and I have not gotten around to putting it all together just yet.  But I did manage to get a photograph of Amy’s sample so that is what I am sharing with you today:

And here are the additional Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this banner which also can be added to your shopping cart with a click on the thumbnails below:

I think I am going to make a companion “Christmas” banner to go with my “Merry” banner and hang them on my fireplace mantel!

If you have any questions regarding measurements or other design elements of these projects, you know that all you have to do is ask me, right?  My tutorials are always offered for FREE!

Farmhouse Christmas

Greetings my stamping friends.  Sorry for the pause in posts – I am having upstairs A/C problems again and the temperatures here in my part of Texas are in the 90’s and make it unbearable to spend time in my crafting space.  Good news (if you can call it that) is that we are getting an entire new unit installed on Monday (which is actually today already)!

So I did not spend any time in my room making anything during World Card Making Day, but I hope you all got the chance to make something yourselves.

Thankfully I still have several projects from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat left to share with you.  Today’s projects include two cards and a framed art piece that use the Festive Farmhouse Suite of products from the Holiday Catalog.  I think this is my most favorite product suite so far.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of these projects which can be added to your shopping cart with a quick click on the thumbnails below:

If you have any questions regarding measurements or any other design elements for any of these projects, just ask.  I am always happy to share my posted projects with you for FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Stamparatus Accessories – Oh My!

If you already have a Stamparatus – the absolute best stamping tool ever invited – then you will be over the moon to hear that you can now purchase “accessories” to go with it!  Sadly this does not include a carrying case (but rumor has it that one is anticipated), but it does include specially sized grid paper, two plates, two magnets and a foam mat.  These accessories can be purchased separately or as a bundle.

If you do not have a Stamparatus yet, schedule some time to come play with mine to see why you absolutely need one for yourself!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Falling for Leaves

Greetings my stamping friends.  I am going to share with you today two projects we made at Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat using the Falling for Leaves bundle from the Holiday Catalog.  I do not have the bundle of products (yet) so unfortunately I do not have a project of my own design to share with you.

The first project is a card:

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails below:

The second project is a 3-D gift bag using the little cotton bags from the Holiday Catalog with the same bundle, just different colors:

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this gift bag which, again, can be added to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails below:

If you have any questions regarding layout, dimensions, etc. for either of these projects all you need to do is ask me.  I am always happy to share my tutorials with you for FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

World Card Making Day (actually Week)!

Greetings my stamping friends.  It is time once again to celebrate World Card Making Day.  Buy why just celebrate for one day?  Stampin’ Up! wants you to be able to celebrate for an entire week (sort of like your birthday week, right!).

While I am not nearly organized enough to have you all gather at my house to make a card or two, I wanted to be sure you were aware of the special pricing that is available on select items (10% off) October 1-7, 2018 only.

I will post again later today.  I have not been to bed yet (since Sunday) and it is now 5:35 AM on Monday in my time zone.  I’m slowly running out of oomph.

Thank you for stopping by.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Inventory Status Report

Greetings my stamping friends.  After sharing my Halloween projects with you I discovered that the Cauldron framelits are on backorder and will not be available until October 22!  That is very disappointing since it is a seasonal item and not much use after October 31.

To keep us all on our toes about the availability of the very popular products in the Holiday Catalog, here is a list of items that are on Backorder, Not Orderable or are in Low Inventory Status:

LOW INVENTORY:

If you have these items on your Wish List and want to be able to get them anytime soon, it would be a good idea to go ahead and get your order in ASAP.  I have made it easy for you to place an order – you can simply click on the thumbnails above to add the items to your shopping cart.

BACKORDERED:

NOT ORDERABLE:

So there you have it.  Makes me a little nervous to share anything with you guys.  Everything is so popular this year the inventory at the warehouse can’t keep pace!

I will be back tomorrow to share something with you.  Surely I have something worth sharing from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat that is not on these lists!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.
