I put my kit together a few weeks ago in less than an hour. Now that my Artisan Design Team items are on their way to Utah I finally had time to photograph them to share with you.
Seriously, it’s that easy. Order your kit today before they are all sold out!
I apologize for not posting anything for several days (okay, for nearly a week)! I have been working on items for the 2013-2014 Artisan Design Team Contest – deadline to submit an application is May 22nd, so I’m cutting it pretty darn close. Just sealed up my box and it is ready to go tomorrow (whew!).
I wish I could share what I created with you, but I can’t post any images of what I made until after Convention in July.
What is the “Artisan Design Team?” you ask. It is a 10-member team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who have been selected by a panel of judges based on the creativity and style, craftsmanship, composition, color and consistency of their projects. An initial panel of 20 finalists is selected and the final panel of 10 will be announced at Awards Night during Convention. Each month the selected team members will receive current Stampin’ Up! products to be used to create projects to be showcased at Stampin’ Up! events and/or in their publications.
I would be so honored to be selected for this year’s Artisan Design Team. Wish me luck!

As if that’s not exciting enough, Stampin’ Up! also has a surprise in store for you today — and by “in store” I mean “in the online store.” Stampin’ Up! has added 26 new Occasions categories for our downloads including party, family, home décor, and sports. Check it out for yourself.
Today was a beautiful day here in Texas — perfect for celebrating the day with my AMAZING mother, Anna Tolson.
For one of her gifts I made her a Monogram “Simply Adorned” Charm necklace (which she has already told me she is going to attach to her key ring!). Mom’s charm is the 1.50″ x 2.00″ charm and while it’s not clear in the pictures, the front of the charm has beveled glass. I’m going to get to work creating her some seasonal inserts so she can swap them out whenever she wants to.
Here are close-ups of the charm (both the front and the back):
While the “Simply Adorned” product line was retired with the release of the 2012-2013 annual catalog last year, there are still some of the items available on the Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack. Get yours before they are gone forever!
I hope you were able to spend time with your Mom today or that you were made to feel special by your own children.
Planning a birthday party? Or perhaps an unbirthday party?
The new Wonderland Party Ensemble comes complete with invitations, a banner, a framable, food flags, treat toppers, and thank you notes. All you have to do is invite the Mad Hatter and March Hare.
The start of a new month means the release of a new “Best of” stamp set.
Sure, these things happen all year long, but there is just something about Spring that makes us think of weddings and babies. So what could be better for Stampin’ Up!’s May “Best of” set than a Best of Brides & Babies Stamp Set?
Best of Brides & Babies – Clear-mount Stamp Set Item # 133482 / $14.95 (preferred price)
Oh my, I’m going to have to come up with something else I “need” so I can place another order! (Hmmmm, rumor has it one of my nieces my be getting engaged this year, so I do NEED this stamp set.) 😉
I just received my pre-order of products from the soon to be released 2013-2014 Annual Catalog (just one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator!). Once I finish up with Dana’s invitations I plan on putting them to good use this weekend!
Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you come back soon.
Springtime is for blooms and blossoms and pretty things — so Stampin’ Up!’s new Bloomin’ Bouquet project kit is arriving just in time! Create a beautiful bouquet of flowers for someone special: a friend, a teacher, or your mom. All you need is adhesive!
Mother’s Day. Teacher appreciation . Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There’s no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.
As if that weren’t enough, the kit contains a “baker’s dozen”! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn’t normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you’d like to give a little “thank you” to!
Item 134542 $12.95. Available starting April 29, while supplies last.
Kit contents:
2 sheets of preprinted and precut flowers on 12″ X 12″ cardstock; makes 13 flowers using Pool Party, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry
13 Vintage Faceted Buttons
13 green floral wire stems
Adhesive not included. (Glue gun recommended.)
I just ordered one; get yours before they are all sold out!
