Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are all doing well and finding a little time during your day to get your fingers ink-stained from playing with your inks, stamps and papercrafting tools.

Safari Celebration – February 2022 Paper Pumpkin

Greetings my stamping friends. I thought I would change things up a bit today by sharing the February 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Safari Celebration – with you. This really is not a kit that I would have purchased for myself, but once I started putting the pieces together, I really had a fun time.

This month’s kit had supplies to make nine (9) cards – three (3) each of three (3) designs. I went ahead and made all of the cards per the instructions just so I didn’t have to “think too hard” about what I wanted to do. A Rainbow of Happiness

Greetings my stamping friends, and Happy President’s Day too!

Since this Texas weather can’t decide what it wants to do this time of year (warm, cold, rain, snow or something in between), I thought I would share with you all a card that was created by one of the members from my Connect & Create group that I received in a recent swap. This card uses the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle from the January to June 2022 Catalog, as well as the coordinating Designer Series Paper – Sunshine & Rainbows – available for FREE during Sale-a-Bration through February 28, 2022, or while supplies last.

Flowing Flowers Have a Ranunculus Romance

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. My plans for the weekend changed so I will not have sister time or niece time after all. They are still in town but my husband is not feeling 100% and so we felt it was best that we stay home. This allowed for me to make more progress in my crafting space, which is beginning to look like a never ending project.

I am sharing a project with you today that I again received as part of my Connect & Create team group swap. This card uses one of the most unusually named stamp sets I think I have seen in my years as a Stampin’ Up! customer and demonstrator — Ranunculus Romance — as well as another stamp set — Flowing Flowers. Both of these products are available for purchase in the January to June 2022 Catalog.

This card is incredibly beautiful in real life and is actually not that difficult to create with the Ranunculus Romance stamp set and coordinating set of dies. Glenda used flower images from both stamp sets to create her design, giving it that vintage look that is very popular right now.

During our recent Connect & Create team Zoom meeting, Suzanne Taylor gave a demonstration of a card using what she referred to as an “emboss and trap” technique that I hope to show you just as soon as I place my next order which includes this stamp set!

Wildflower Path

Greetings my stamping friends. This week has been a blur, with one day being so much like the other I was surprised the weekend had already arrived. I guess spending so much time in my crafting space with boxes of retired products and memories they hold got the best of me this week. It will be a busy weekend for me – my eldest sister is in town with her eldest daughter and her two granddaughters so there will be a lot of sister time and spoiling of little ones happening here.

Today I am going to share with you one card that I received as part of one of my Connect & Create group swaps. This card uses the Wildflower Path stamp set from the January to June 2022 Catalog which is designed to give your projects a “watercolor” look with very little effort.

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope those of you who live in North and Central Texas survived the outrageous winds of the last few days. It got so bad at my home last night I had to go find some rope in the garage and tie the doors of my husband’s BBQ-grill closed because the constant banging from the wind blowing them open and closed was nuts! A neighbor reported they lost their flag from their yard, so it was a hard blow out here.

A Valentine’s Day Sweet Conversations Explosion Box

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you all had an enjoyable Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day with your friends and loved ones. I was able to celebrate the day with my fabulous husband who showered me with chocolates and made sure that our four-legged fur babies presented me with a card as well. He always makes sure they are included in all of our celebrations!

I also participated in our demonstrator group Galentine’s meeting and we shared our accomplishments of the month and then created an explosion box together. I used products from the Sweet Conversations bundle for mine. I had never made one of these before, but I understand that it has been around for a long time. Here is how mine turned out:

Of course I also handmade cards for my husband. I used the Love & Happiness bundle for the card from me and then the Pampered Pets bundle for the card from the fur babies (I apologize but the DSP on the pets card is retired):

On the inside of the pets’ card, I used the stamp from the set that says “I hope you day is a real treat”. On my card, I added Wink of Stella to the embossed heart cut-out.
