Toil & Trouble and Takeout Treats for Halloween

Greetings my stamping friends.  I thought I would change up my project theme to something a little more seasonal for the upcoming month of October – that would be Halloween of course.

We do not get many kiddos visiting our neighborhood for candy so for the few who do pay us a visit this year I am thinking I will make their treats a little special – more on that a bit further in this post.

First a card project that was one of the card designs from Amy Storrie’s Holiday Retreat using the products from the Toil & Trouble Suite.  Most people cringed when they saw this one because the images are a bit tiny and are all colored with Blends.  Of course I loved it!

Fortunately the suite includes a stamp set and framelits bundle that allows for easy cutout of the stamped images!

We made the cutest “takeout” treat box on Saturday using the Takeout Treats bundle.  Of course there was more coloring to be done with the Blends (love it!).  The picture makes the little box look larger than it actually is – it basically measures 2″ x 1.75″ x 2″.  Did I say it was cute?  What do you think?

Lastly Amy gave each of us a welcome gift for attending the Friday night event.  It is a treat box/sleeve that fits a snack bar (looks like a Nutter Butter bar) which also uses the Cauldron Bubble bundle.

I never eat the sweet treats I receive because I do not want to ruin the wrapping they come in!

If you have any questions regarding the design elements or measurements of any of these projects please ask me.  I am happy to provide you with my tutorials FREE of charge!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda
