#OnStage2018 Orlando Swaps!

Greetings my stamping friends.  We have a new kitten in our house – a birthday present to me from my husband – who we have been trying to train to sleep with us.  If you have ever had a kitten with other pets in your house then you probably can guess how little sleep we are actually getting at night.  But she is so darn cute we will just go with the flow until she figures out what we expect her to do.  Here she is with her big sister, Ella.  By the way, the kitten’s name is Jenna.

So I have not had the energy the last two days to create anything “new” but I did photograph some of the swap cards I received from other demonstrators while at #OnStage2018 in Orlando that I can share with you, in no particular order.  If the card had the designer identified, I gave them recognition:

If you have any questions as to the design elements (i.e. measurements or supplies used) for any of these cards, all you need to do is ask and I will respond with the details as soon as possible.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda

P.S.  Heading off to bed.  I believe Jenna has run off her energy and is ready for a nap!

Online Extravaganza is Underway! & #simplestamping

Pop the champagne, the party has started! Online Extravaganza is kicking things off with our first two-day sale!

Take advantage of 10% off annual catalog paper and embellishments while supplies last—item quantities are limited, so don’t miss out.  Click HERE for a shortcut to the sale items in my online store.

This particular sale ends at midnight on November 24, so don’t wait!

Note:  Applies to Annual Catalog products only, exclusions apply, item quantities limited.

Come back on November 25-26 to save 10% on stamps and kits.

I didn’t want to end today’s post without sharing a project with you.  As I mentioned a few posts back, one of my stepsons is in the hospital and at present it is uncertain as to whether or not he will make a recovery.  I was asked to gather some paper and envelopes for him so that he could write notes to people to express to them what he could not say to them directly.  If you know me, then you know that I could not just give him plain paper and a pen.  Instead I made some quick notecards:

For the card bases I used the new Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes that will be introduced in the new Occasions Catalog.  I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I stamped with images in Blueberry Bushel from the Falling for Leaves  stamp set and the sentiment is from the new Butterfly Gala stamp set that will be introduced in the new Occasions Catalog.  This was a quick and easy project, which after #OnStage2018 Orlando you will see from time to time with the tagline of #simplestamping.

If you have any questions regarding the ongoing Online Extravaganza or the project elements, i.e. dimensions or other products I used, do not hesitate to ask.  I am happy to answer any questions.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Paper Pumpkin December Kit – SOLD OUT!

Greetings my stamping friends!

Due to record numbers of kits sold in the past several months, new subscriptions for Paper Pumpkin are closed for the month of December.

What this means . . .

  • New customers will not be able to subscribe until December 11, 2018 and will receive their first kit in January.
  • Current subscribers will still be able to manage their accounts via the regular login process. However, they will NOT be able to add additional December kits to their order.
  • Canceled subscribers can still return, but after November 21 at 5:00 PM (MT), they will receive December’s kit based on availability; additionally, if kits are available, returning subscribers will only be allowed one kit.

If we are unable to fulfill orders for returning subscribers (as noted above), we will notify you on the billing date (December 11, 2018). Your subscription will be automatically suspended and you will not be billed for December. These subscriptions will automatically resume in January unless the account status is changed to “canceled.”

We strongly recommend that all subscribers check their account information to ensure that their account is up-to-date. Due to inventory levels, we cannot guarantee a second billing.

Stampin’ Up! apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause but this is another example of how popular these monthly kits have become and are a great value at $19.95 per month (U.S.)!

I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and/or family.

Thank you for stopping by today. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

#OnStage2018 Orlando Make & Takes & More

Greetings my stamping friends.  I am finally digging out my stuff I brought back with me from Orlando nearly two weeks ago and I had a few of the Make & Take projects that I had not shared with you during the event itself.  Here are two cards we made using new product suites that will be available in the Occasions Catalog that will go live on January 3, 2019.

This card uses a new “distinktive” stamp set called Forever Lovely from the All My Love product suite.  This product suite features everything romantic – think flowers and hearts, pinks, reds and whites with a little bit of Crumb Cake and Sea Foam Green.

This card uses the Bloom by Bloom stamp set from the Happiness Blooms product suite.  This suite of products features bold stamp images and bright colors.

Have you heard the news about our red rubber stamps?  Beginning in January with the release of the Occasions Catalog, Stampin’ Up! will no longer offer “wood-mount” or “clear-mount” red rubber stamp sets.  Instead, the red rubber stamp sets will be called “CLING STAMPS”.  If you had issues with the prior “clear-mount” stamps staying on your acrylic blocks when you attached the image stickers to the top of the stamps, this problem has been resolved.  The new CLING STAMPS have a tackier sticker that is super strong.  For grins, check out this video that we were shown at #OnStage2018 Orlando:

I mean, they really do cling!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

#OnStage2018 Orlando Loot Haul!

My apologies for the silence. We have another family emergency in progress involving one of my stepsons and most of our time has been spent towards making sure that he gets the medical care and support he needs to pull through. So far so good …

One of the exciting things about attending a Stampin’ Up! event is the “loot” that you receive as part of your registration packet, Prize Patrols and All Attendee Give Aways! With this year’s event marking the 30th Anniversary of Stampin’ Up! I anticipated that this year would be amazing. I was not wrong. Here is what I came home with (not including gifts and swaps from my Demonstrator friends):

0

The Humming Along and Incredible Like You stamp sets, the Gingham Gala DSP, Tool Kit Pouch and Foldable Tote Bag were All Attendee Give Aways. The Lovely Lattice stamp set was my Prize Patrol. The Amazing Life stamp set and the three notebooks were part of our registration bag, along with some pens and a name badge wallet that i shared with you on Day 1 of the event.

I had a wonderful time and can’t wait until April for the next event.

Speaking of April and the next event, there will be a one day OnStage Local in San Antonio, Texas. These events are open to Stampin’ Up! demonstrators only. I would love to have you join my team and come with me to San Antonio in April. With Sale-a-Bration coming in January the timing couldn’t be better!

If you are interested in more information, please contact me!

Thank you for stopping by today. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

#OnStage2018 Orlando, FL

The much anticipated event has arrived! After a very long day of travel and what seemed like endless walking through airports, the Orange County Convention Center (the entire length of Concourse H there and back – parking was at Ballroom F but our event is at Ballroom A) and then the winding hallway of our hotel at which our room is at the very end of the hallway, I am not sure how long my ankle is going to last. But we are all here and safe with an adventure awaiting us!

This trip is also a little sad for me. This is my first OnStage event since my Demonstrator friend Beth Grace died from cancer earlier this year. She was my roommate at my very first convention in 2010 and from then on whenever we both attended out of town events we were roomies. While I was waiting at the baggage carousel I encountered several demonstrators who were also members of Jennifer Cotton’s downline (along with Beth) who recognized me which made me think of Beth which then made me tear up. I am sure this will happen many times over the next few days – I sure do miss you my friend.

Since I am titled at Bronze Elite (good sales but no recruits!) I did not qualify for the CenterStage event that was held this evening. I can only imagine the marvelous time those who are Silver Elite and above are having this evening. Someday I will be joining them …

Today I was able to pick up my registration packet which contains our bag and other items. With this year marking the 30th Anniversary of Stampin’ Up! the items reflect this momentous occasion.

I love it all!

Ok it is VERY late and my day starts really early tomorrow so it is time for me to say goodnight.

Thank you for stopping by today. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

A Beautiful Petal Promenade #OnStage2018 Swap

Greetings my stamping friends.  I have one sample of my second and last swap card for OnStage in Orlando, FL (I will be taking the pieces for the remaining cards that I need to assemble with me to finish when I arrive!).  I used a collection of products from the Annual Catalog that I fell in love with when I first saw them back in April but I just now got around to purchasing the stamp set and coordinating framelits during the recent Birthday stamp sale.  Here is my swap card for my INK Group swap – SPOILER ALERT for those who are participating!

I threw this design together late yesterday and finished it up today.  Not bad for creating on the fly, right?

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails below:

If you have any questions regarding any design elements of this card, do not hesitate to contact me.  All of my tutorials are shared with you for FREE!

I will try and post from OnStage – we can actually show you all the new stuff instead of keeping it secret; I just can’t show you the new catalog (Occasions Catalog & Sale-A-Bration Brochure) which I will received while there!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda

P.S.  If you would like to join me at the next OnStage event in April, become a demonstrator by joining my team and help me promote in title to Silver!  I have the required sales, I just need recruits.  If you want more information about the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, ask me or click the “Join the Fun!” link at the top of my blog.
