My Right Ankle

The story of my right ankle is not as dramatic or movie worthy as say “My Left Foot” starring Daniel Day Lewis – after all it’s not like I can paint with it – but it has become the equivalent of the Grinch who stole crafting.

As I go through my arm and leg exercises that are part of my PT and OT therapy I think of all of the pretty stamp sets, designer series papers, cardstock, brightly colored inks, ribbons and embellishments on my craft room table most certainly feeling neglected from lack of use. And then there is my Stamparatus that had just arrived shortly before THE FALL and was only used a couple of times.

There is hope. Tomorrow I am scheduled for a 4-hour excursion from rehab to my home for dinner with family and a few friends. My plan is to get upstairs to my craft room and pack a few (haha – seriously) must have products so I can make swap cards for upcoming OnStage in Fort Worth on Saturday, April 7. Of course my plan to go upstairs was met with strong objections by my husband, but it’s not like I can just tell him what I need. We shall see …
