World Card Making Day 2025

Yesterday, October 4, was World Card Making Day. To celebrate the occasion, Stampin’ Up! hosted a FREE online event featuring the Handmade & Heartfelt Kit. If you were not able to join this event, here is a “how-to” video from their YouTube channel:

I tend to create at a slower pace than the “experts” in these videos and I typically just watch first and then make the projects afterwards once I have digested their tips and tricks. I put the final touches on my kit today (assembling the box) after I watched the Cowboys game. Here are my finished items:

One additional step I added to each card, which does not really show in the photos, is that I applied Wink of Stella to each of the images on the card fronts. As a friend has described me, “I glitter the sh!t out of everything.”

Everything needed to create this project, except for the Wink of Stella, is included in the box, including the display box. This would make an awesome Christmas gift for that crafty person on your Wish List. The display box is very sturdy and will make a great desk organizer once all of the cards have been mailed to friends and family who need “a warm hug with a fold in the middle.”

If you have any questions or need help ordering this kit, please do not hesitate to contact me.

What did you make for World Card Making Day? Share your projects on my Facebook Business Page (link is provided in my blog menu, above).

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda
