Special Delivery – January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are all keeping warm and safe during this weekend’s ice storm that is affecting most of the US. We do not get this kind of weather often here in Texas so I, for one, have not been able to “keep warm” for several days as my husband likes it a little chillier in the house than I do. (Yes, he sleeps with both a floor stand-fan and the ceiling fan on at night!)

I have been working on the January 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Special Delivery over the last few days. The theme of this month’s kit was Valentine’s Day. Since I already have my own special Valentine, I again made a change to one of the card designs from the suggested instructions. I hope you enjoy today’s share.

I know I have probably said this before, but this kit is my absolute FAVORITE so far! The cards are so amazing in real life, and you know I always add Wink of Stella to the die cut pieces from the kit (sadly it turned my white flowers on the last card gray). This time, it was the flower heads on each card. The change I made from the instructions in on the first card – while I used the suggested “Happy Valentine’s” stamp on one of the cards, I looked through my collection of Paper Pumpkin stamp sets for a “Happy Birthday” that was the appropriate size for the tag. The stamp set from the June 2025 Full of Charm kit provided me exactly what I needed.

NOTE: If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber and have this kit in hand to assemble when you have the chance, there is a big tip that will help with the collage card (the one with all of the postage stamp squares and rectangles. Those items are laid out exactly as they need to be attached to the card from. Do not remove them from the frame. Instead, stamp the two places, where indicated per the instructions, and then flip the entire piece over and attach dimensionals to the back of each of the die cuts. Remove the dimensional backings and attach the entire piece to the card from, aligning the top of both the card front and the card of die cuts at the time. Press to adhere the dimensionals. THEN, you can carefully remove the excess frame of the die cut piece, leaving behind just the die cuts and everything will be perfectly straight!

Here is the how-to video from Stampin’ Up! which will give you an idea of how to assemble the cars in the kit.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
