Love & Happiness Bundle by Stampin’ Up!

Greetings my stamping friends. I have been trying to get my crafting space more organized (I still am surrounded by boxes from my move of nearly a year ago) and it is a very slow process. I found that I was several catalog cycles behind on removing retired products from my shelves and matching up dies to stamp sets has made me realize I need a new system.

How do you keep your craft supplies organized? I have come to the conclusion that keeping the dies rubber banded to the coordinating stamp set is going to be the best option for me going forward and will deal with those rare occasions when the stamp set carries forward to the next catalog but the dies do not, or vice versa, when they arise.

If you follow me on my Facebook business page, I have pinned a post to the top where I have listed some of my most recently retired products (stamp sets and those that also include a coordinating die or punch set) which are available for purchase. Be sure to check them out in case I have something that you missed out on during its offer period. I will continue to add more items as I get more organized!

I am going to share with you today two cards from the Connect & Create team swap which use the Love & Happiness bundle from the January to June 2022 Catalog (see. page 11).

Created by Jan Bassett
Created by Linda Tolson Yarbrough

This particular bundle has what is referred to as a “hybrid embossing folder” which means that a die (heart shaped) fits inside the folder and cuts at the same time you are embossing. Jan made her card a window card, while I popped up an embossed heart cut out in another material on dimensionals. So many variations with this option!

Here are the thumbnails for the bundle as well as the products separately. Just keep in mind you save 10% when you purchase these items as a bundle. I also included the embellishments used just in case you needed those as well (you can never have too many embellishments!):

Product List

If you have any questions regarding the dimensions of these projects or how to use the hybrid embossing folder, do not hesitate to ask me.

SALE-A-BRATION

Don’t forget that Sale-a-Bration is in full swing and ends on February 28th! Flowering Fields Suite – Tulips Fields

Greetings my stamping friends. I ventured out today – a rarity for me – and got long overdue maintenance done on my acrylic nails and so typing today’s blog post is a whole lot easier than the day before. I mean it’s the little things these days, right?!?

I am sharing with you today two cards that I received in the recent card swap with my Connect & Create teammates for the January to June 2022 Catalog, this time featuring a stamp set or suite/bundle that I found a little bit intimidating. Now that I see how beautiful these cards are and I know I have probably just about every stamping tool I would need to make it easy to master, I just may need to put this on my next order. You may want to order it yourself as well after seeing these lovelies. The bundle used here is Tulip Fields.

Created by Amy Storrie
Created by Socorro Gonzalez-Brey

On Amy’s card, those rows of tulips are stamped. Socorro let the designer series paper do the “talking” in her design. This is a beautiful suite of products, and perfect for Spring creations.

Again, you can order the entire suite of products, or you can pick and choose which ones you want. Just be sure that if you order both the stamp set and coordinating dies, that you use the bundle item number so that you receive the 10% discount. Below are the thumbnails to make your shopping for what you need a breeze:

Product List

(NOTE: The Flowering Tulips bundle was not used in either of these projects, but this bundle is included as part of the suite.)

And be sure when you place your order that you have enough card stock on hand that will coordinate with your designer series paper of choice, as well as enough adhesives to hold all of the parts together.

If you have any questions on the dimensions of either of these projects, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda

P.S. Have you noticed I have a new Watermark for my photographs? What do you think about it? I would love to hear your comments.

Sweet Talk Suite for Valentine’s Day

Greetings my stamping friends. I obviously need to do better and post more often here. I will try to do better going forward.

I participated in another group card swap with my Connect & Create teammates in two different categories – the January to July 2022 Mini Catalog and the January to February 2022 Sale-a-Bration Catalog. I received lots of great cards back to share with you, and the following three cards used products from the Sweet Talk Suite.

Created by Jann McCollom
Created by Pam Gardner
Created by Mary Mendoza

Why do we call it a suite? All of the items work so well together, we couldn’t imagine that you wouldn’t want them all, so to make ordering them easy there is one item number. However, you can still order each item separately if you prefer or if there is an item or two in the suite that doesn’t appeal to you. (REMEMBER: You save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and dies as a “bundle”.) For your convenience, I have provided the thumbnail links below:

Product List

If you have any questions on dimensions of these three cards, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

There are a few cards where I was not sure what dies or punches were used. If you need measurements, just ask me.

Hello There from Eden’s Garden

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope you are doing well as you count down the days until Thanksgiving.

Today I want to share with you a project I made for a card swap with some of my Connect & Create Team members using a new product suite that is being offered now as a pre-release purchase from the January to June 2022 Mini Catalog – Eden’s Garden Suite. (The swaps have been mailed to all participants so hopefully I am not spoiling anyone’s surprise!)

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of my project:

Below are the product item numbers for the collection as a whole and then for each item individually:

These sneak peek products are available now through January 2, 2022. I can say that the designer series paper is phenomenal and very versatile — I have seen many cards made using this paper for Christmas cards.

A Peaceful Christmas by Paper Pumpkin

Greetings my stamping friends. This week we will be celebrating Thanksgiving! Wow, where did the time go this year? It seems like it was just a few months ago that my husband and I were closing on our new home and preparing for our move to Aubrey, Texas. That was in March …

By this time of year I have typically completed all of my Christmas cards and have them addressed and ready to go into the mail just after Thanksgiving. This year, not so much.

To help me get a quick start, I pulled out my October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Peaceful Christmas. I was not disappointed with how quick and easy the projects were, and how beautiful the completed cards turned out.

First, here is everything that came as part of the kit …

This particular kit included enough supplies to create 10 cards, five each of two designs (and, as with all of the Paper Pumpkin kits, included coordinating envelopes):

This kit was super quick and easy as you can see by watching this quick how to video (new videos are published each month once the kits have been shipped):

If you are not already a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, the deadline for each month’s kit is the 10th of the month. If you wish to receive the December 2021 kit — Lots of Pun — you have until December 10, 2021 to do so. See below for more information about this upcoming kit.

LOTS OF PUN by Paper Pumpkin (coming December 2021)

What’s not to “loaf” about a punny joke? It never hurts to have a little laughter, light-heartedness, and humor sprinkled into your schedule. If you’re a fan of fun, get a kick out of clever crafts, and can’t keep it together when you hear a classic knee-slapper, you’ll go bananas over this month’s cute ‘n’ quirky kit!

The Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin Kit includes enough egg-citing elements to create nine cards and coordinating envelopes. From giddy gingham to splatters and stripes, this playful Paper Pumpkin kit features a fun and fresh look with one-of-a-kind patterns and designs! Egg-cellent for any occasion, reason, or season throughout the year, the kit’s pun-packed stamp set provides completely customizable characters for a very versatile crafting experience. Pair each stamp with its matching die-cut snack, then mix up the faces and accessories for an absolutely adorable accent!

Pick up your friends and family with pun-filled projects. December’s delightful kit is sure to make ‘em smile!

You have options for becoming a subscriber. You can pre-purchase subscriptions of 3, 6 or 12 months or subscribe month-to-month. See the below thumbnails for the pricing options. The month-to-month price is $22.00. All prices include shipping.

Product List

If you wish to become a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you will also need to create an account with an active email account. HERE is my personalized link for your convenience.

A Batter Up! Happiest of Birthdays

Monday is my grandson Jayson’s 15th birthday and I wanted to make him a card that he would appreciate and would be age-appropriate. He has played league baseball for many years and I still had some pieces left over from the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit – Batter Up!

Using those pieces as my card base and embellishments, I then browsed my vast collection of stamp sets and found two that would help me create the perfect card – Biggest Wish and Happiest of Birthdays. So with these two stamp sets, a few scrap pieces of Basic White card stock and some ink I had my card.

Believe it or not, I did not have the Playful Alphabet Dies (for the 15th) so I had to freehand it. I need to add those to my wish list because they would have made the card perfect.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I did use in the design of this card, with the exception of the card case and wood bats and baseball embellishments from the Paper Pumpkin kit. I have included the super convenient hyperlinks so you can easily add the items you need to your shopping cart:

Product List

If you have any questions regarding this project, please do not hesitate to ask me.

We had an early celebration with Jayson on Saturday. He picked the restaurant – The Olive Garden – and he enjoyed the Tour of Italy, followed by Italian Donuts for dessert. They grow up way too fast.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.

Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Blessings of Home @ Home

Greetings my stamping friends. I have been MIA for a very long time – at least from this page. Moving into a new home, new health complications and life in general have a way of redirecting one’s best plans from time to time, and for me this has been the past six months or so.

Just last weekend, thousands of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators gathered virtually online and took part in OnStage @ Home — #onstageathome — in place of gathering in person for training and stamping presentations. During the three days of gathering we were treated to sneak peeks of new products that will be offered in the upcoming January to June 2022 Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog that starts on January 4, 2022 through February 28, 2022.

As part of the registration, we had the option to preorder a suite of products that will be available in the January to June 2022 Mini Catalog called the Heart & Home Suite. During a portion of the program on Saturday called the Stamp & Share Experience, we made the following projects which all use the products from the Heart & Home Suite.

Since these products are not yet available for purchase, I cannot provide you with quicklinks for adding these items to your shopping cart, but I can share with you photos of the new products since I have them in my possession — just one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, getting products before they are available to the public!

I had so much fun getting my fingers all inky again and I realized how much I have missed creating these past months.

When is the last time you got your craft supplies out and created something? I would love to see what you have made. Drop me a comment with your photos or send me a post on Facebook.

I have so many new products on my desk and it is my hope and goal to use them all before the release of the new catalog in January! I hope you will stay tuned for more fun and exciting projects to comel.

If you have any questions about the upcoming catalogs or how you can get your hands on the new products before they are available for sale to the public, please contact me!

Thank you for stopping today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
