Greetings my stamping friends. I hope that each and every one of you had a joyful and safe Christmas and New Years celebration with your friends and families, both near and far.
My family’s almost two-month long health crisis with regard to my stepson came to a sad end on December 30, 2018 when he took his final breath. We are grieving as you can all imagine but are grateful that he is no longer in pain from his condition. Funeral services will be held on January 12 which will be a simple Memorial Service as he wished to be cremated and his ashes to be spread in places that he loved.
Enough sadness already ….
While the Holiday Catalog sales period has come to an end, there are several products that are on the Carryover List that remain available for purchase between now and the release of the new Annual Catalog in June 2019. Some of these products may make their way into the new catalog, but most likely not so this could be your last chance to get these beauties in your crafting arsenal.
I made several last minute Christmas gifts a day or two before Christmas for a few friends, my sisters, married nieces and my Mom. I used items from the Holiday Catalog which I can itemize for you at a later time if needed. Here is what I made (including the box):
I think I made about nine of these in a 24-hour period!
The time has arrived! The new Occasions Catalog is live and in living color. If you are an active customer of mine (have made a purchase within the last two years) you should received, if not already, one copy of both the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Brochure (more information to be provided below). I have heard from other demonstrators that many have not yet received their copies. Please be patient and allow the postal service to catch up from the holiday rush; however, if you have not received one by the end of next week, hit me up for another copy and I will check with the home office about delivery issues.
I have not yet made anything with my new products with everything that has been going on in our personal life, but I plan on getting crafty this weekend and will share with you soon.
Have you ever experienced a Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration event? If not, you are going to LOVE the next three months! For every $50 (Level 1) or $100 (Level 2) purchase you make between January 3, 2019 and March 31, 2019, you are able to select products from the Sale-a-bration brochure for FREE – that’s right, FREE! With the exception of the Tea Time Framelits Dies (Level 2 item), the Sale-a-bration products will not be available for purchase once this event ends.
Links have been provided to my online store in the banners for both the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration. I hope you take a moment and browse the amazing new products that are available now and March 31, 2019 (Sale-a-bration) and June 3, 2019 (Occasions Catalog), or while supplies last.
Thank you for stopping by today. Until next time, stamp on my friends,
Linda

This is also my swap card for tomorrow’s group meeting (cats out of the bag!). This stamp set has images that are perfect for coloring with the Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils or any other coloring method you pick.

The kit will make 10 cards — five (5) each of two (2) designs. Super easy to make and they look simply marvelous in real life when completed.

So I have not had the energy the last two days to create anything “new” but I did photograph some of the swap cards I received from other demonstrators while at #OnStage2018 in Orlando that I can share with you, in no particular order. If the card had the designer identified, I gave them recognition:
If you have any questions as to the design elements (i.e. measurements or supplies used) for any of these cards, all you need to do is ask and I will respond with the details as soon as possible.
Pop the champagne, the party has started! Online Extravaganza is kicking things off with our first two-day sale!
For the card bases I used the new Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes that will be introduced in the new Occasions Catalog. I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I stamped with images in Blueberry Bushel from the Falling for Leaves stamp set and the sentiment is from the new Butterfly Gala stamp set that will be introduced in the new Occasions Catalog. This was a quick and easy project, which after #OnStage2018 Orlando you will see from time to time with the tagline of #simplestamping.
