A New Year, A New Catalog

Greetings my stamping friends.  I hope that each and every one of you had a joyful and safe Christmas and New Years celebration with your friends and families, both near and far.

My family’s almost two-month long health crisis with regard to my stepson came to a sad end on December 30, 2018 when he took his final breath.  We are grieving as you can all imagine but are grateful that he is no longer in pain from his condition.  Funeral services will be held on January 12 which will be a simple Memorial Service as he wished to be cremated and his ashes to be spread in places that he loved.

Enough sadness already ….

While the Holiday Catalog sales period has come to an end, there are several products that are on the Carryover List that remain available for purchase between now and the release of the new Annual Catalog in June 2019.  Some of these products may make their way into the new catalog, but most likely not so this could be your last chance to get these beauties in your crafting arsenal.

I made several last minute Christmas gifts a day or two before Christmas for a few friends, my sisters, married nieces and my Mom.  I used items from the Holiday Catalog which I can itemize for you at a later time if needed.  Here is what I made (including the box):

I think I made about nine of these in a 24-hour period!

The time has arrived!  The new Occasions Catalog is live and in living color.  If you are an active customer of mine (have made a purchase within the last two years) you should received, if not already, one copy of both the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Brochure (more information to be provided below).  I have heard from other demonstrators that many have not yet received their copies.  Please be patient and allow the postal service to catch up from the holiday rush; however, if you have not received one by the end of next week, hit me up for another copy and I will check with the home office about delivery issues.

I have not yet made anything with my new products with everything that has been going on in our personal life, but I plan on getting crafty this weekend and will share with you soon.

Have you ever experienced a Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration event?  If not, you are going to LOVE the next three months!  For every $50 (Level 1) or $100 (Level 2) purchase you make between January 3, 2019 and March 31, 2019, you are able to select products from the Sale-a-bration brochure for FREE – that’s right, FREE!  With the exception of the Tea Time Framelits Dies (Level 2 item), the Sale-a-bration products will not be available for purchase once this event ends.

Links have been provided to my online store in the banners for both the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration.  I hope you take a moment and browse the amazing new products that are available now and March 31, 2019 (Sale-a-bration) and June 3, 2019 (Occasions Catalog), or while supplies last.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Until next time, stamp on my friends,

Linda

Humming Along Sneak Peek

Greetings my stamping friends.  I hope you are all staying dry and warm this wet and cold winter weekend.  My husband and I are still enmeshed in a family tragedy that has yet to write its final chapter.  It involves one of my stepson’s and is a sad tale for another day.

Tomorrow (Saturday) I will travel to Amy Storrie’s home in Denton, Texas for a Stamped with Joy group meeting to play with the new products from the upcoming Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs due to release in January 2019.  Since by now you should have caught on that I attended #OnStage2018 in Orlando, Florida back in November and was able to pre-preorder some of these products, plus we were given several stamp sets, etc. while at the event.  Today’s project (I know, it’s about time!) uses one of the “cling” new stamp sets called Humming Along.

This is also my swap card for tomorrow’s group meeting (cats out of the bag!).  This stamp set has images that are perfect for coloring with the Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils or any other coloring method you pick.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card.  With the exception of the stamp set (which will be available starting January 3, 2019), you can add these products to your shopping cart with a quick click on the thumbnails below:

If you have any questions regarding the design elements, techniques, measurements or anything else regarding this project, do not hesitate to ask.  My tutorials are always FREE.

Of course, if you can’t wait until January 3, 2019 to get your hands on this stamp set, if you become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator NOW you can choose it as part of your starter kit (and start saving 20% on everything you buy going forward)!  I would love to have you as part of my team — and I still need just ONE recruit to advance in title to Silver ….  Ask me how you can join my team.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

#OnStage2018 – INK Swaps

Greetings my stamping friends. I have been otherwise occupied with family matters the past few weeks and have not been in the crafting frame of mind as a result. Take a minute to hug your loved ones or call them and let them know you are thinking about them and are so very grateful to have them in your life.

I do have a collection of swap cards from #OnStage2018 Orlando that I have not shared with you. I did an organized swap with Jann McCollom’s INK demos (I was part of her downline when we had 5 levels …) and this group of ladies are extremely talented! Here are their creations with credit given if they properly labeled their card.

Aren’t they all amazing?!? If you have any questions as to products used or measurements, etc. for any of these projects do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

To You & Yours – Paper Pumpkin November 2018

Greetings my stamping friends.  Have you ever dreamed of having a cozy country Christmas?  Stampin’ Up! has the next best thing—our To You and Yours November Paper Pumpkin kit. With its Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla plaid-lined envelopes, festive wreaths, and homespun, rustic vibe, you’ll almost smell the pine trees.

This kit blew up the Paper Pumpkin subscriptions during its promotional period and was definitely worth the hype.  I took some time today to assemble two of the cards — one each of both designs — that I will share with you now.

The kit will make 10 cards — five (5) each of two (2) designs.  Super easy to make and they look simply marvelous in real life when completed.

Watch our video to see how it’s done!

As a reminder, the December kit is already SOLD OUT due to the high number of new subscribers for the November kit.  If you wish to become a regular Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can sign up HERE after December 10.  Be sure to subscribe before January 1o, 2019 if you want to receive the January kit!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

#OnStage2018 Orlando Swaps!

Greetings my stamping friends.  We have a new kitten in our house – a birthday present to me from my husband – who we have been trying to train to sleep with us.  If you have ever had a kitten with other pets in your house then you probably can guess how little sleep we are actually getting at night.  But she is so darn cute we will just go with the flow until she figures out what we expect her to do.  Here she is with her big sister, Ella.  By the way, the kitten’s name is Jenna.

So I have not had the energy the last two days to create anything “new” but I did photograph some of the swap cards I received from other demonstrators while at #OnStage2018 in Orlando that I can share with you, in no particular order.  If the card had the designer identified, I gave them recognition:

If you have any questions as to the design elements (i.e. measurements or supplies used) for any of these cards, all you need to do is ask and I will respond with the details as soon as possible.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda

P.S.  Heading off to bed.  I believe Jenna has run off her energy and is ready for a nap!

This particular sale ends at midnight on November 24, so don’t wait!

Come back on November 25-26 to save 10% on stamps and kits.

I didn’t want to end today’s post without sharing a project with you.  As I mentioned a few posts back, one of my stepsons is in the hospital and at present it is uncertain as to whether or not he will make a recovery.  I was asked to gather some paper and envelopes for him so that he could write notes to people to express to them what he could not say to them directly.  If you know me, then you know that I could not just give him plain paper and a pen.  Instead I made some quick notecards:

For the card bases I used the new Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes that will be introduced in the new Occasions Catalog.  I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I stamped with images in Blueberry Bushel from the Falling for Leaves  stamp set and the sentiment is from the new Butterfly Gala stamp set that will be introduced in the new Occasions Catalog.  This was a quick and easy project, which after #OnStage2018 Orlando you will see from time to time with the tagline of #simplestamping.

If you have any questions regarding the ongoing Online Extravaganza or the project elements, i.e. dimensions or other products I used, do not hesitate to ask.  I am happy to answer any questions.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.  Until next time, stamp on my friends.
