Happy Halloween Magic in this Night

Greetings my stamping friends. For today’s blog post I am sharing with you another Halloween card that we made at Amy’s Holiday Retreat. It features the products from the Magic in this Night suite from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog.

Please forgive my less than perfect die cuts of the bats. My face mask was making it hard to line up the dies at times.

Here are the Stampin’ UP! products that were used in the design of this card. To add these items to your shopping card, just click on the thumbnails below:

Product List

This card is much more elegant looking in real life. If you are a fanatic for Halloween, then this suite is a definite must have!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Holiday Retreat Reboot!

Greetings my stamping friends! There’s nothing like a weekend spent with a house full of friends who love playing with ink, stamps and paper as much as I do to get my creativity back on track! I spent Friday evening and all day Saturday with a group of wonderful crafters at Amy Storrie’s Annual Holiday Retreat at her historic home in Denton, Texas. We made 12 cards on Friday night and I haven’t counted yet the number of 3-D projects we made on Saturday (I still have to put some of mine together!).

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing these cards and projects with you. The first card I will be sharing is a Halloween card to “a frightfully good friend”:

The Stampin’ UP! products that were used in the design of this card are as follows. To add these items to your shopping card, simply click on the thumbnails to be redirected to my online store.

Product List

We had so much fun as we socially distanced and wore our face masks. We stayed at our same table for the entire weekend and used hand sanitizer each time we passed and changed projects around the table. (That’s me on the right!)

I have some big news that I’m not sure I have shared here yet. My husband and I are having a new home built in Aubrey, Texas. We just cleared underwriting this week and have been given a tentative closing date of February 15. This is very exciting but not a likely closing date since when we last drove by the homesite they had not yet poured the foundation. Anyways, our new home is going to have an entire “wing” where my Stampin’ Up! Suite (Bedrooms 2 & 3 and Lifestyle Room) will be located. This will mean that I will actually have an area where I can hold in-home classes and clubs and I will no longer have to trudge upstairs to get to my crafting tools!

I hope that those of you who are current customers of mine in the Dallas/Fort Worth area will not mind driving a little further to come out and stamp with me.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Joining Stampin’ Up! has never been more eventful!

Stampin’ Up!’s business year ends on September 30. I would love to have promoted in title by that time. All I am lacking in order to promote is just ONE RECRUIT! Just ONE!

If you love the products offered by Stampin’ Up! even half as much as I do (and that is saying a lot), then why not join as a demonstrator and take advantage of the minimum 20% discount off of all of your purchases, plus all of the other benefits that come with being a demonstrator? For $99 you are able to fully customize your own starter kit with products worth $125, PLUS now through September 30, you will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set at no extra cost to you.

Here are a few samples of the cards you could make with these extra supplies:

If you have a history of spending at least $100/month or $300/quarter on craft supplies, then you would already meet your quarterly requirements to remain an active demonstrator off of your own purchases! Whether you want to join to take advantage of the discount (which would actually allow you to purchase MORE products since you are saving at least 20%) or want to turn this into a business venture, I would love to have you as my recruit.

Our Statement of the Heart embodies why I love working for this company:

New Catalog & New Customer Online Store

Greetings my stamping friends. When I got a text message from a friend yesterday checking on me because they haven’t seen anything from me on social media in a while, that was a huge clue that I have been neglecting my blog and my craft room and supplies.

I have been feeling poorly lately with various issues ranging from coughing to headaches and fever. I had a COVID antibody test which, after nearly three weeks, came back negative. I just don’t have the energy or desire at the moment to get creative. Hopefully I will snap out of it soon.

Today would be a good day to start, but nothing has moved me so far. Today marks the launch of the sales period of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, or as we have referred to in the past as the Holiday Mini! If you did not receive a copy of the catalog from me (if you are a current customer of mine you should have received a copy by mail), you can click on the image at the top of this post to view a PDF of the catalog.

Along with the launch of this new catalog, Stampin’ Up! has released a new version of their Customer Online Store. If you already have an account for online shopping, your information will transfer to the new system. However, if you had saved shortcuts for logging in with a “saved” password they will no longer work because the URL has changed and your browser will not associate the password. If you have forgotten your password you will need to use the “reset password” feature.

I think you will love the new features of the new online store. Once you add items to your cart, they remain in your cart even if you fail to check out. Their is also a “favorite” feature where you can click on a heart under each item to add to a favorites lists (for those items you order over and over. And if that’s now amazing enough, you now have the option to creat Wish Lists which you can share with others!

This new online store is created to work on a mobile device, tablet, laptop or computer device. If you have any issues while using the online store there is a live feedback feature that allows you to report your issue directly from your device which provides the IT gurus all the code they need to duplicate the issue to trouble shoot it.

I could go on and on about how great it is, but you should just try it out for yourself and then tell me what you love about it.

Thank you for stopping by today and for hanging in there with me. I hope to be back stamping soon. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Paper Pumpkin June 2020 Kit – Box of Sunshine

Greetings my stamping friends! I am blogging to you from my new laptop. It is still not 100% updated with all of my apps and data, but it will have to do for now as I have reached my tolerance level.

If you managed to catch my Facebook LIVE demonstration from yesterday (whether live or on replay) then this post will be a recap of yesterday’s video. Below are still photographs of the completed projects, which include the box of happiness to be received by several of my customers and the completed cards from the kit:

The exact contents of the box will remain a mystery except to those who receive them, but they will include four cards similar to those shown above. While I only subscribe to two kits each month and I had indicated during my demonstration yesterday I was going to do my other Sunshine gifts in bags, I think I am going to use some of my empty orange boxes instead.

And if you are not a follower of my Facebook business page, here is a link to the video on my YouTube Channel:

During my demonstration I couldn’t remember if the monthly kits were $22.00 plus tax & shipping or a flat $22.00. It is actually $22.00 plus tax. Sorry about that – I get confused because I get a discount on mine so my amount billed is always less!

JULY 2020 PAPER PUMPKIN – SUMMER NIGHTS

Also during my demonstration video yesterday I couldn’t remember what the theme of the July kit was…my brain is not what it used to be! I knew it was “night” something, but that’s about it.

Think FIREWORKS, FIREFLIES & FERRIS WHEELS. This kit is offering an “add-on” kit consisting of 24 envelopes and card bases that is available starting now – July 1 – only while supplies last. You must be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to purchase the add-on kit. See the below flyer for more information.

If you are not already a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can use my custom link HERE to subscribe. Be sure that you select me to be your Demonstrator so that I can help you with any issues you may have going forward.

BONUS DAYS ARE BACK!

Bonus Days have begun! For every $50 you spend July 1 thru August 3, 2020 (before shipping & tax), you’ll get $5 USD in Bonus Days coupons that you can use August 4-31, 2020!

There is no limit to how many coupons you can earn, so shop all month!

If you have any questions regarding the information I have shared with you today, please send me an email or call me. I am here to help.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Technology Challenges

Greetings my stamping friends. I have been out of commission for the last few days as I do battle with the challenges of migrating data from my old laptop to my new laptop. I first tried the “Support Assistant” application that came with the Dell laptop which took over 28 hours to transfer my data, only to have it fail to transfer everything. I had purchased LapLink at the time I bought the laptop, and I was about to start that process, only to discover that I need a cable that — you guessed it — I do not have.

Since both laptops are covering my crafting space and my brain is about to explode, I have not done any crafting in several days but hope to get to do some by this weekend. I have the June Paper Pumpkin “Share Sunshine” kit that is adorable that I would like to share with you, as well as a few bundles and suites from the Annual Catalog.

I hope you will continue to have patience with me as I battle these technology demons so that I can clear my craft space to have some fun. I expect that I will be sharing some of that fun with you all LIVE on Facebook so stay tuned!

Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Celebrate Sunflowers in Abstract

Greetings my stamping friends. I am finally getting around to sharing a project with you that I did a Facebook Live demonstration on a few days ago (Wednesday I think it was). I will first share the still photos and supplies with you and then I will imbed the video from my – drumroll please – YouTube Channel!

If you do not already follow me on my Facebook Business Page, then you are missing out on my newest addition to my crafting showcase – Facebook Live. If you follow me you will receive alerts when I go Live and will see posts I may make on my page that I may not make to my blog so be sure to check it out.

As I mentioned in my latest order unboxing Live I received notice that four friends lost members of their family last week so I had a need for sympathy cards. Rather than stress over four different designs, I decided to make the same card for each and was inspired by a card on Pinterest by Fiona Bradley. Here is my slightly altered version:

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card, with the hyperlinks for ease of shopping. Just click on the thumbnails to add the products you need to your shopping cart:

Product List

And now for your viewing pleasure is my FB Live video. I apologize for the quality. I need to update the WiFi router in my home:

And for my prior post for the Jar of Flowers, there is a video for that as well:

If you wish to receive notice each time I post anew video to my channel, please become a subscriber!

I am so excited about the new steps I have taken in the past few weeks. I never thought I would work up the nerve to do a live video and now I have done two!

My next goal is to recruit a team member or two. NOW is the perfect time to JOIN Stampin’ Up! Why?

During the month of June, when you JOIN Stampin’ Up! not only will you get a Starter Kit — already a great value at $99.00 for $125.00 worth of products — but for a limited time, you can select any stamp/tool bundle from the new 2020–2021 Annual Catalog for FREE (see pp. 168-169 & 173-179 for the qualifying bundles).

If I recruit at least ONE person and sell an additional $600 by June 30, 2020, I will advance in title to SILVER. Who wants to help me reach my goal by the end of the month?

If you want to discuss becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I would love to talk with you about it. Who doesn’t love saving 20% off of their craft supplies?

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

A Jar of Flowers With Love & Sympathy

Greetings my stamping friends! Finally a project to share with you. I failed in my mission to share all of my retiring stamp sets with you – I have eight that went unused during my mission, but only a few were ever never used.

I am sharing with you today a card that I made for an old school friend of mine whose father died this past week. It is never easy to lose a parent, no matter how old they are or the reason, and I hope that her receiving this handmade card filled with love will make her day just a little bit better.

I used the new Jar of Flowers bundle and coordinating designer series paper in my design:

My strip of designer series paper for the card front is cut to 1.50″ x 5.25″. I stamped the jar in Memento Tuxedo Ink onto a piece designer series paper and punched it out with the coordinating Jar punch. I cut another jar out of cardstock and adhered to the DSP jar so it would be sturdier when popped up with dimensionals. I stamped the sunflower cluster at the top of a piece of 3.25″ x 4.25″ whisper white cardstock and then die cut with a Stitched Rectangular die.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of my card with the hyperlinks for ease of adding these items to your shopping cart:

Product List

If you have any questions regarding the design elements of this card, do not hesitate to ask.

I am going to do a Facebook Live presentation on my page here shortly. I hope you will join me there – it will be my first live demonstration so it should be entertaining at the very least!

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.
