A Lovely Arrangements Birthday Card

Greetings my stamping friends.

I made a card today! This will be for my Mom’s 86th birthday on January 12.

I received an order back in December, that I was extremely tardy in opening, which contained the Lovely Blossoms Suite Collection, one of the newer Online Exclusives releases. The main reason I ordered this product suite was the designer series paper which is the statement piece of my card.

Since I didn’t want my card to look “fat”, I put my top layer into the embossing folder so that the stripes were vertical instead of horizontal 😄.

Since I used the designer series paper as the focus of my card, the project came together very quickly. I may just have to go back and make companion cards will all of the other pieces from that one sheet of paper!
