Six-Sided Butterflies for Swapping

I have been busy in my craft room throughout the last week creating more cards for swapping at Convention.  This particular card that I am sharing with you today was inspired by one of the projects in the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog (p. 105).

I wanted to use the new 2015-2017 In-Colors but only had the assorted pack of card stock so I picked two different colors and created 24 cards in each.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design and creation of these cards:

I have a tip to share with you when using the thinlits, i.e. the Butterflies Thinlits, that have a lot of design detail.  To make it easier to remove the cut image from the thinlits, put a piece of shrink wrap between the thinlit and the card stock or paper (a great use for the packaging that you would normally just toss in the trash).  The cut image pops out quick and easy with absolutely no tearing of the card stock!  I just wish I had thought of this tip BEFORE I had nearly cut out 24 of these butterflies!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.

Until next time, stamp on my friends,

Linda
