Timeless Tropical at the Beach

Greetings my stamping friends. I hope that you had the opportunity this past week or over the weekend to get crafty. If you did, I would love to see what you made. Feel free to leave a picture in the comments to this post.

Today’s project that I am sharing with you was designed by me a few months ago for a Stamped with Joy group meeting at Amy Storrie’s house. It seems like it has been six months ago, but in truth it was perhaps three months ago. I was asked to do a demonstration and this was my project.

I prepared a very detailed “card recipe” for this project in PDF format which you can download HERE.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that were used in the design of this card with the hyperlinks to quickly add them to your shopping cart:

I also used an Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers (not sold separately) for coloring the Palm Trees stamp.

Admittedly this card looks very time consuming. You can omit the sponging of the beach, water and horizon, and use “paper piecing” (pieces of similarly colored cardstock) to create a similar look. I reused my templates I made for sponging over and over without any trouble.

If you have any questions regarding the design elements of this card, please ask me. If you have difficulty downloading the instructions I provided above, please alert me so I can trouble shoot (it works when I try it).

As a reminder, Sale-A-Bration ends on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. If you plan to order any of the products I used on this project, be sure to do so ASAP so you can take advantage of the FREE products you can earn. As always, if you need help placing your order, please call or email me.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda
