Stampin’ Up! – Envelope Punch Board, Convention Highlights & Artisan Project

Coming Soon! – Envelope Punch Board:

Stampin’ Up! announced at this year’s Convention last week the release of a new tool.  While I can’t show you a picture of the tool itself until it is officially released, I can show you what you can create with this tool!

My Project 5-001

With the release of the “Envelope Punch Board” you will no longer be limited on the size of the cards you design.  This nifty new tool will allow you to create coordinating envelopes in  66 different sizes!!

2013 Convention Theme Song / Highlights Video:

The theme this year for Convention was “Be the Difference”.  Here is the highlight video with the theme song performed by Ryan Innes (as seen on NBC’s ‘The Voice’).  Ryan kicked off Day 1 General Session with a live performance of this year’s convention theme song!  It was awesome to see.

Another Artisan Project:

Here’s one of the five cards that I designed and submitted with my Artisan Design Team application:

DSC03670

And here it is on one of the Display Boards at Convention 2013!:

#Convention2013 – Day 1

Opening Session:  We were welcomed by Shelli Gardner and her entire family onstage as we marked the official start of this year’s Convention.  This year is extra special as it marks the 25th Anniversary of Stampin’ Up!

Attendance was capped at 5,800 demonstrators from the US and Canada (as well as some of our European locations).  As you can imagine, the crowds are huge and the lines are long!

I managed to make my way around to all of the Display Boards in the Gathering Place and photographed them all.  During my tour of the boards I was excited to see many of my Artisan Design Team submissions on display (I did not make the top 20, unfortunately).  Here’s one of my 3-D projects.

I hope you all had a great weekend.  My blog posts may be more sporadic than usual but I hope you will stay tuned …
