#OnStageAtHome – Saturday Finale

Greetings my stamping friends. Our first virtual OnStage event came to a conclusion on Saturday. It was lots of fun, but I did miss rubbing elbows with thousands of my demonstrator friends as we have in years past. The above photo shows everything that we received in our event kit – an awesome bag, three notebooks, an ink pen that changes colors as you use up the ink, a collection of three enamel pins that you can keep or swap and a new stamp set that will be available in the upcoming 20201 January-June Mini Catalog – Enjoy the Moment.

The original plan was to go back out to Amy Storrie’s house in Denton, but she was suffering from either a cold or allergies on Friday and I opted to stay home. Just as I was logging on for the first General Session, I saw the breaking news of the Election results which I had been closely watching and was a little disappointed that I missed it live, but OnStage was much more important at the moment!

It was another fun-filled day of stamping demonstrations and breakout mini-sessions. The closing session was the most anticipated of any event each year – a stamping presentation by Shelli Gardner and Sara Douglas. If you are a Stampin’ Up! fanatic then you know who these ladies are; if not, Shelli is a co-founder and Sara is her daughter and current CEO. They are so much fun when they are on the stage together – they could go on tour and make a killing on the comedy scene.

A perk of attending an OnStage event is being able to pre-purchase items from the upcoming mini catalog BEFORE the demonstrator purchase period (which begins in December). I submitted my order this evening and will be sharing some of the new products with you soon! They are amazing – and yes, I know I always say this, but it is true.

On Friday, four of us that attended the event at Amy’s did a shoebox swap. Here are two of the cards that we made. One is the card I designed; and one the card that Amy designed. I will share the other cards on a later post.

My Card:

My card uses a product bundle that is being released with the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog, but it is being offered as an early release NOW to customers! NOTE: There is a package of holiday dsp that is being offered as part of the early release that will not be included once the catalog launches.

Amy’s Card:

Amy used the designer series paper, Lady Bug embellishments and the Mossy Meadow linen thread from the Dandy Garden Suite and the Enjoy the Moment stamp set that we received in our event kit in the design of her card. These products will be able for purchase with the release of the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog in January. If you can’t wait until January, you can order them in December if you join my team as a demonstrator. Ask me about the benefits of becoming an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, including a minimum 20% discount on all purchases you make!

If you have any questions regarding the design elements on either of these cards, including measurements of the layers, do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper.

Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda
