OnStage San Antonio 2019 Swap #1

OMG! Someone please hit me upside my head for designing such a detail oriented card for my organized group swap. Thankfully I love and adore the group of ladies I will be swapping with (Jann McCollom’s INK Demos and Amy Storries’ Stamped with Joy Demos) so they are well worth the extra effort. I still have 26 bows to make to complete my collection of cards but I had my one example card completed so I could at least take photos to finally share with you all.

And yes I even stamped the inside of these swap cards, something that I do not normally do!

I was disappointed in myself to discover that I used a retired ribbon on this project but I wanted to use a Whisper White ribbon and this is the only one I had two spools of. I could have sworn it was current. My apologies to my swap pals, but they should be able to easily substitute something current.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card that are still available for purchase through my online store. Note that the embossing folder is a Sale-A-Bration item through March 31, but will be carried in the new Annual Catalog when that releases in June.

Product List

Wow. That may be a record for the most products used on one project for me!

I really want to make some general swap cards, but I need to tell myself “clean and simple” is the way to go!

If you have any questions on how I created any of the design elements of this card, do not hesitate to ask. I am always happy to answer any questions, give creative assistance or explain how to do a technique or use a new tool. And in case you need a reminder, my tutorials are always FREE with no strings attached!

(TOP TIP: I used my Stamparatus when stamping the tag and inside of the cards. I cut out all of my tags first on the Big Shot. I then put one of the remnants of the tag into the Big Shot and placed the cut tag into the spot it was cut out from. I placed my stamp on the tag until it was straight and picked it up with one of the stamping plates. I then inked the stamp and repeated however many times I needed to stamp a tag. Perfect every time!)

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda
