A Lasting Lily With Sympathy

Greetings my stamping friends. Yikes what a cold weekend we are having here in North Central Texas! As is typical for Texas weather, the temperatures will once again climb into the 60’s by the middle of the week. Some parts of North Texas got enough snow to make a snowball, but at my house we didn’t see a single flake.

I am sharing with you today another card that I started a day or more ago that I had to let sit to make sure it was “done”. The trend right now is #simplestamping which I guess is the new hashtag for “less is more” in the stamping arena. I personally love using bling, ribbons, layers and die cuts on my projects so it is going to take me a while to adjust to this concept. However, I think today’s card could fall into this category.

What do you think?

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card which can be added to your shopping cart by clicking on the thumbnails below. (NOTE: Two of the products are Sale-a-Bration items and can only be earned according to their level value.)

Product List

The Lasting Lily stamp set is a Level 2 item and is FREE with a $100 purchase (before shipping and taxes. The Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack is a Level 1 item and is FREE with a $50 purchase (before shipping and taxes).

If you have any questions regarding any design elements of this card, do not hesitate to ask me. I gladly share my projects for FREE.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you leave here inspired to put stamps to ink to paper. Until next time, stamp on my friends.

Linda

  1. Linda, these lilies are so beautiful! I love the color combo of the lavender and green. The ribbon is a such a pretty finishing touch! So happy you joined my challenge at The Paper Players this week! XX

Linda, your lilies are beautiful! And, I love how you used vellum with the sentiment! The addition of organdy ribbon is perfect! We lived in Dallas for five years, and I was always amazed at the temperature change. Thanks for playing along with Paper Players.
